Make your privacy messages your own
Customise your email footer and cookie statement for each site and language
Your privacy messages should reflect your organisation. You can now manage custom email footers and cookie statements in the updated Privacy settings page, with separate text for each of your site’s languages.
- Email footers: Add your own text to campaign emails while keeping the company information and unsubscribe link in place.
- Cookie statements: Customise the message visitors see in the Prezly cookie banner.
- Language-specific text: Switch between your site’s languages to preview and edit each version.
- Restore defaults: Return to Prezly’s default text whenever you need to, then save your changes.
- Open your site and go to Site settings → Privacy settings.
- Find Cookie statement or Email footer and select a language.
- Choose Custom text, make your changes and click Save changes.
If your site uses OneTrust, it continues to manage your cookie banner. Your saved Prezly cookie statement will apply when OneTrust is turned off.

Custom email footers and cookie statements are available on Standard and Enterprise for brands, and all current Agency plans, including Agency Essential.
If your plan doesn’t include customisation, you can view the available plans or talk to our team from Privacy settings.
