AI story editorial review

Prezly labs experiment (ended)

August 7, 2026
New FeaturesStories

As part of our Prezly Labs experiments, we've released a new AI editorial review tool within the Story Editor.

After several weeks of testing, we’ve wrapped up this experiment and decided not to take this feature forward.

It lets you choose three different review styles: journalist friendly, neutral and factual, and commercial.

It then uses that review style to check your story, title, subtitle and content and give you suggestions for improvements. You can then apply specific improvements with one-click if you like them, and review any general recommendations.

This should work across multiple story languages.

This is currently in testing with a small group, if you are interested in trying this let us know!

How it works

We've added a new 'review' button in the story editor.

First choose a review style...

...then review results!

Who gets this?

As part of Prezly Labs, we’re rolling this out to a limited number of Prezly accounts while we evaluate how well it works and gather feedback and improve.

If you already have access, you’ll see this button. There’s nothing you need to enable.

Don’t have access yet but would like to try it? Let us know through the usual support channels.

What’s next

We’ll use what we learn during this rollout to improve both features and results, before making it available more broadly if the experiment is a success, so the contents detailed above is subject to change.

Already tried it? We’d love to hear what worked, what didn’t, and what would make it more useful for you. Let us know via our usual support channels.
