Media galleries
Showcase brand assets like logos, headshots, and product pictures. Having a direct link to your brand logos, latest product images, and company pictures makes it much easier for the press to find and save high-res images when they cover your stories.
Create media gallery
Media galleries enable you to include albums of images or videos on your site.
- Go to your site dashboard by clicking the site name under Sites
- Click on the Site settings tab
- Select Media galleries
- Click on Create image gallery or Create video library
- Add details such as gallery title and description, then click on the grey placeholder square to add content to your media gallery
Private / public media galleries
Control whether your media gallery appears on your Prezly site:
- Open your media gallery
- Check the checkbox labelled Set this gallery as public to make your media gallery public and visible on your site
- Uncheck the checkbox to make the gallery public – this hides the gallery from appearing on your site
Organize your media gallery
Your gallery albums will show up as a list on your Media gallery settings page. From here, you can see how many images are in each gallery, toggle them to public or private, and click each one to add, remove, or adjust images.
Use the six dots on the left of each item to drag and drop your galleries into the order you like.
When you have eight or more galleries, a search box will display at the top of your galleries table:
Adjust your gallery style
Click on a media gallery to adjust how it displays on your site.
Change the layout
You can change the order, size of the images, and width of the spacing between images by clicking on your media gallery and using the options in the menu that pops up.
Edit album name and description
You can easily edit the album name and title within the gallery.
Rearrange the images within the album
Drag images in the gallery to rearrange, or click Randomize in the pop-up gallery menu to randomly change image order.
Add image captions
Click add caption under each image to add a caption, or click on the media gallery to open the pop-up menu and select Fill captions from filenames to use image filenames as captions.
Preview
Once created, click the "View gallery" to see what your images will look like to your audience.
FAQs
Can I have separate galleries for each language?
Currently galleries are not linked to languages, so you'll see all galleries in all languages.
Are there any limitation?
There are no limit on the amount of images you upload in a gallery, our standard image size limitations do also apply for galleries.
