Prezly aims to greatly simplify and enhance press releases. This service allows subscribers to create online press releases for their brand themselves. These releases completely transform press releases as we know them. Prezly releases are enriched with the best of the web: easy file distribution, shareability and trackability. Moreover, the service enables people to send out emails about their press release that can be tracked in detail.
At this moment the team feels confident enough now to release this new public beta version because the past few months the service has improved dramatically. Foremost the code has been rewritten to be much more robust and fast. Also, bugs were squashed early on by working closely with a small amount of private beta testers and the team will be able to get important feedback to optimize its offer.
All the basic possibilities of Prezly will remain free of charge, in the current beta and in the soon to be released public version. People will always be able to create a press room and an unlimited amount of social press releases for free. Apart from the first time, sending out press releases via email is limited to 5 recipients.
The beta testers have given valuable feedback that is being processed now to improve the system. The main updates before launching the public version of the site will be:
- A restructured press contact section to allow to manage large lists more intuitively. All current contacts will be migrated automatically. The press contact section will be restructured in order to make it possible to manage large lists more intuitively.
- Importing contacts in batch via CSV
- Multilanguage support for press releases and press rooms. Content in different languages will be grouped so press rooms will not get cluttered with the same press releases in different languages.
- Secret urls ( will be added)to preview press releases so they can be checked by colleagues.
